Porcelain and silver sugar bowl: 155 ml with lid in a case
The case holds only the sugar bowl with its lid. The diameter is approx. 75 mm, the capacity approx. 155 ml. The silver setting comes from ArgentA.
The body of the bowl is bone china from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg; lid and knob are porcelain, too.
Volute handles, acanthus band, vertical cut-outs
Vertical cut-outs decorate the lower part of the setting, and an acanthus scroll band the upper part. Two handles sweep outwards as volutes and frame the bowl.
Handles and setting are polished by hand until the volutes shimmer evenly.
The setting is bright polished, not blackened; the acanthus band and cut-outs stand out through light and shadow alone.
For a table that already knows Bohème cups
If you already own cups from Bohème, the bowl completes the table. The silver of the setting matches that of the cups, and the porcelain carries the same fine rim line.
If you are starting fresh, the bowl stands on the table as a hosting piece in its own right. For a wedding anniversary and at Christmas, it is a gift for people who enjoy laying the table.
