925 silver sugar tongs with sugar bowl: a Capercaillie set in a case
Bowl and tongs share the case. The bowl has a lid and holds approx. 155 ml, and the tongs are approx. 105 mm long.
Bone china from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg forms the liner and lid; ArgentA supplies the body, capercaillie figure and tongs in 925 silver.
Capercaillie figure, medallions and bird claws
Medallions with birds and scrollwork run around the body. Two handles flank the bowl, three feet carry it, and the figure of a capercaillie crowns the porcelain lid.
The tongs are slender and plain, and their grips are shaped like bird claws. They are bright polished.
Medallions, scrollwork and the capercaillie figure are cast; body and tongs are finally polished by hand. In the medallions, birds and scrolls lie in the dark of the blackened finish, while the raised areas and the tongs are bright.
For a birthday at the hunting lodge table: tongs and bowl
For a hunter's birthday, the table in the hunting lodge is laid festively. The bowl with the capercaillie on the lid belongs in the centre, with the tongs beside it.
In Advent it returns to the table, and for retirement it is a gift for anyone who now takes more time for the hunting lodge.
Bowl alone, demitasse set or cups: Capercaillie at a glance
The bowl on its own comes as the Capercaillie sugar bowl with lid. Together with two cups and two spoons, the Capercaillie demitasse set with sugar bowl offers the whole table.
Two cups alone are available as the Capercaillie silver demitasse cups for two.
Engraving request and SilberVerse at the hunting lodge table
A name or a date on the silver of the bowl, for a birthday perhaps? Your wish reaches us by WhatsApp, email or the order note at checkout. The manufacturer decides on feasibility; we agree lettering and layout with you. If it cannot be done, we refund you.
If you wish, a SilberVerse belongs at the hunting lodge table, free of charge on request. It takes up the names and occasion individually and is created as a photo card 15 × 10 cm.
