The elephant forms the entire upper handle. The ear and head feature a checkered pattern of colorful enamel fields in green, blue and orange; the trunk and legs have stripes and small ovals. Bright orange fills the tip of the trunk as well as the large round spots. Nothing on this figure is gold-plated; it remains silver and enamel. In the bowl, you will discover tactile bumps.
With its 125 mm, the elephant weighs approx. 26 g according to the manufacturer. It comes with a white case featuring a rainbow ribbon with a bow; the design may vary.
Anyone who sees it for the first time will be drawn to the ear: small squares in green, blue and orange sit close together like a patchwork quilt. The trunk extends beyond them. The color is warm, almost autumnal, yet cheerful enough for a nursery.
Engraving and SilberVerse: how the elephant becomes personal
A name cannot be engraved on this spoon because the handle is shaped like an elephant. This is not a precaution, but due to the shape. As an alternative, there is the SilberVerse card, a verse in just a few words on photo paper, no photo, available free of charge upon request.
If you absolutely want a name on the spoon, take a look at the curved elephant spoon with engraving. It is a different model with its own shape.
Occasions and gift ideas: siblings, cup and rattle
The orange elephant is suitable for a birth, a christening and the first porridge. For twins or pairs of siblings, it is worth combining it with the pink elephant or the blue one, because the figure remains the same while the main color changes.
When gifting, the rattle with a trunk and the baby cup with an elephant complement the spoon to create a small elephant set. With the case and a card, everything is ready to be presented at the christening table.
It is also a calm choice for parents who like orange themselves: a cheerful color that suits any nursery.
