Silver Baby Rattle 925 Tomcat — Smooth Handle, Engravable

A flat tomcat with pointed ears and dot eyes sits at the top of the polished handle of this silver rattle; at the bottom his tail lies as a broad oval in front of the figure. The smooth handle has room for an engraving of up to 20 characters. The manufacturer is Zaramella Argenti (Italy), the material 925 sterling silver.

Silver Tomcat Baby Rattle: a Flat Silhouette with a Face

The tomcat is not a body formed all the way round but is worked flat. His outline is shaped by the ears, the eyes and the round muzzle; a curved line suggests the paw. The loop sits where the figure and the handle meet.

Cats are associated with grace and a strong will; if you like to see that in the motif, you can. The rattle weighs approx. 18.5 g at a length of approx. 12 cm, slightly different from piece to piece.

Smooth Handle: up to 20 Characters for a Name and a Date

The handle ends in a drop shape and needs no ornament, one continuous, mirror-like surface. That is what turns the tomcat rattle with engraving into a personal piece: up to 20 characters can be set on it, such as a first name and a date of birth.

For the engraving, you put the engraving service fee into the same cart as the rattle; we clarify the wording only afterwards. If it cannot be done or the flat price does not cover the job, we refund it. Because of the engraving, your parcel takes 1 to 3 working days longer, and engraved goods are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Instead of or in addition to the engraving there is the SilberVerse card, free on request. AI creates a verse of three to four lines from your details about the occasion and the name, and the picture to go with it; we print the card on photo paper, 15 × 10 cm in landscape format, and put it in a standard frame in silver, white or black.

Christening, Birth, Baby Shower: Who the Tomcat Suits

The motif does not fix a gender; the tomcat rattle with a name suits boys and girls. As a christening gift it carries the date of the christening, for a birth the first name. If the name is not yet decided, for example before the baby shower, the handle stays smooth, and the rattle is still ready to give.

The Same Tomcat on the Teething Ring

As a flat silhouette, the tomcat also hangs on the pearl-white acrylic ring: the tomcat on the teething ring cannot be engraved. The cat with a bow is a motif of its own, sculpted, with an engraving panel on the handle for up to 10 characters; you will find her here. Other big cats are the lion and the tiger.

Caring for the Mirror Shine

Smooth silver shows fingerprints more quickly; a soft cloth takes them off. A silver polishing cloth wipes away tarnish. Wash by hand, not in the dishwasher.
