The spherical rattle head features a dense floral relief: a large, six-petalled blossom with a sculptural core, surrounded by smaller flowers and stars on a finely hammered background texture. The stem is completely covered with small, symmetrical flower rosettes — without any smooth surface. The piece is manufactured by the Italian silver manufacturer Zaramella Argenti. A small eyelet ring at the transition between the sphere and the stem allows for attaching a ribbon or pacifier chain.
