Delivery times

Silver saucer, 110 mm: the size for the porcelain cup
A wide gold rim frames the saucer. Inside runs a niello band with hop leaves and cones between fine double lines. The centre is smooth and polished, and in its middle a foot ring stands out.

Hand engraving and hand polishing meet at the edge of the centre: smooth inside, drawn outside.
The band is filled with niello. The contrast makes the image: dark leaves against bright silver and, next to them, the gold of the rim.
Hop climbs upwards in twists as soon as it finds support. On a saucer that carries a cup, this recalls the support two people give each other.
For Christmas: completing the place setting for two
If you have already given a cup with porcelain insert, add the saucer at Christmas. This turns one piece into a place setting, and the table for two fills up.
It also suits a wedding anniversary as an addition. It can be given on its own and later extended into a place setting with a spoon and cup.

The saucer belongs to the cup with porcelain insert. With a spoon this makes the place setting with porcelain cup; two place settings stand in the set for two, and with all the vessels this creates the service for two.
Engraving after checking: a smooth centre
In the middle of the saucer the silver remains smooth. What a request could look like there is shown by the manufacturer’s check. Part of the centre lies beneath the cup’s foot ring and is covered when in use.
You note your request in the “order note at checkout”; a message by WhatsApp or email in advance works too. The manufacturer checks feasibility and the type of execution. We then clarify lettering and layout with you. If it cannot be carried out, we refund you or choose another piece with you.

Care: wipe, do not rub to a shine
Wipe the saucer with a soft cloth or give it a quick wash by hand. Do not rub the gold to a shine; it is thin. It is better kept out of the dishwasher.
